Grosvenor Snooker Club Case Study

Earlier this year we were contacted by the Grosvenor Snooker Club in Leicester. They were looking for a full redesign, and contacted Pub Stuff to see if we could help. Below is the case study from the club, and answers from the owner to talk about their experiences and images to show how the snooker club looked like on completion.

1. Can you give me a quick overview of your business?
We are a family run business that has been here since 1954. We are a snooker club with 10 tables and a large lounge area.

2. What was the main reason for the redesign of your snooker club?
We decided to redesign the snooker club due to the pub trend in general. The trend is that people are now not going out so much but when they are, they are spending more and wanting something a bit more comfortable. The snooker club before was more like a working men’s club and needed updating. We wanted to move away from the male dominated snooker club environment and encourage more couples to come in.

3. When thinking of ideas for new furniture, why did you choose Pub Stuff?
We found Pub Stuff on google and decided to use you due to you offering a design service to help us but together colours and ideas.

4. Why did you choose the products you now have in your snooker club?
We chose the products due to the practicality and modern look but we were guided by Sally who was very helpful.

5. Overall, were you happy with the process from contact, design and delivery of your products?
We chose the products due to the practicality and modern look but we were guided by Sally who was very helpful. The whole process was made very easy by you from first contact to delivery. We would highly recommend Pub Stuff to anyone who wanted to update their premises.

The transformation from what it was to what it is now is unbelievable and everyone who has walk through the door has commented on how amazing it now looks with no negative feedback at all.

We have now been open for 8 weeks and have found that we have attracted more couples to come in for a drink and a lot of new faces. The first 8 weeks have shown that we have increase to turnover by 46%.
