Delving into those 2023 trends early!

It may be a bit early to talk about trends for 2023 but, with fashion and trends being one of the most fast moving things in the world, getting in there early is never a bad thing! let's discuss the up and coming forecast trends for 2023!

Here goes:

Background Wall - Instagramable walls. A trend consequence from the pandemic times, having one perfect statement wall, proper for video calls or recording content for the online world.

CyberPunk / Digital Realism - The underground digital world applied to interior design, it’ll be mostly seen in specific decor elements, with bright neon colors.

Funghi Decor Trend (70s) - This will be a trending topic in the next interior design season. For its iconic 70’s revival, and its whimsical effects. Applied in shapes or prints.

Lavender Colour - An already very loved hue, used from fashion to interior design, it’s coming back as the star color of 2023.

Luxury Monochromatic - For a minimal aesthetic, this decor trend will be an ongoing trend, with special use for bathrooms and kitchens. With subtle golden accents.

Reinvented Heritage - A contemporary classic style mixed with iconic fashionable fabrics. This design trend brings a new movement for merging classic decors with fashion design.

Below are some projects that have already embraced these upcoming trends as trends tend to go around and come around, or people don't even realise they are being as trendy as they are!

Recent Project Hiller Nurseries - Three Legged Cross

One of the most recent additions to the Hillier family, since autumn 2019, the Three Legged Cross garden centre has recently opened a new restaurant on their premises. Comprising of mostly wooden furniture with a neutral colour scheme, this restaurant looks fresh and simple but extremely stylish.

A mixture of our popular Cambridge metal cross back chairs, Country chairs and Xavier metal chairs were mixed together in this restaurant to create a mix and match look for something contemporary, but we were consistent with the Weathered Oak wood colour and mixture of Saddle Tan and Saddle Pewter fabrics to keep consistency throughout the scheme. The combination of the mix and match with the co-ordinating seats makes the area look modern and fresh.

The tables chosen for the restaurant were our Milan single and double bases with square and rectangle table tops in Weathered Oak. The metal bases again were firstly chosen due to their durable nature but also because they a modern edge to a traditional design.

In this image you can see the mix and match of colours and designs but also how well it all goes together to create this fresh, contemporary look. For the country chairs, this client opted for the padded back and seat option adding to the comfort and design.

This restaurant also opted for comfortable bench seating which gives their customers another seating option for their customers, something with a little extra comfort and feeling of privacy. These benches are covered in Saddle Tan and Pewter and really do look fantastic.
