When Simon took on this Pub it was very run down and dark. Taking on all the refurbishment himself, this became a real community affair with the local residents helping out to bring this characterful venue back to life. Going one step further, the outbuildings were also converted into a beautiful country Cafe offering locally sourced homemade pastry's. Working closely with the team at Pubstuff, a fluid furniture scheme was chosen that runs from the Pub right through to the Cafe.

As the bar itself is limited in space, Chunky poseur tables and Ohio bar chairs have been used to extend the area therefore making the guests feel part of this social space.

Varying table heights and choice of chairs create interest and atmosphere. Lisbon dining chairs surround Boston round tables offering a cosy social corner. The 1940's dining chairs have been used in the bar and restaurant area giving you the options of casual or formal dining.

The restaurant area has used a combination of round Boston tables, square and rectangle Farmhouse tables which can be reconfigured easily for various group sizes. The 1940's chairs in this warm weathered oak have been covered in plain and complimentary plaid fabrics

The adjoining covered outdoor area has the same weathered oak but with lower back less formal Country Chairs. Using the same fabrics as the Pub but also incorporating a midnight faux leather adds a dimension to the changing purpose of the space.

Bespoke bench seating is surrounded by Chunky tables and Cube seating which gives a real Cafe/Diner feel. It really is a beautiful and relaxed area to enjoy your favourite coffee and cake!
