Our Sustainability Journey

We at Pub Stuff are always committed to our sustainability journey and here is just a quick insight into some of the savings we have made so far with our sparkly new solar panels! Saving 97 trees in just 6 weeks makes it all worth it. Not to mention the rapid regrowth rate of rubber wood trees at 13 years, meaning that we supply the most sustainable furniture in the industry! Keeping it neutral - fresh all year round

Keeping it neutral

Decorating with neutrals has always been popular, whether that's been by choice or accidental. It's easy to choose white, beige, or grey paint tones, but the downside is a neutral scheme can end up looking a bit drab and uninspired.

But a neutral scheme can look absolutely stunning and be a statement in itself if done correctly and this is easily done by adding texture, making use of natural light and an add of some quirky pieces.

The eight neutrals are considered to be beige, ivory, taupe, grey, cream, brown, black, and white. While neutral colors are not on the color wheel, they complement both primary and secondary colours.

Grey is a fantastic color to work with and goes particularly well with blush pinks, mustard yellows, and burnt oranges. If you're working with white, then by its very nature, white goes with any color you pair with it, so take your pick! For a neutral look, white works well with other neutrals like creams, beige and grey. If you want a bolder look, white is perfect for contrasting with dark or bright colors. Deep navy is a stylish choice.

Decorating with brown has seen a surge very recently and is seeping into the interior design trends of 2022, so if you're hopping on this trend, consider pairing with navy blue or lighter beige and cream tones. And finally, if you're feeling brave and fancy a black interior scheme, pair with earthy hues to create a dramatic but cozy design or mix with white for a high contrast aesthetic. Keep reading to see how one of our customers pulled this trend off brilliantly!

Recent Project - The Wheatsheaf Inn

 July newsletter

This lovely pub on the outskirts of Lymm, Cheshire was refurbished earlier this year with all furniture supplied by Pub Stuff.

For a cosy corner near the window, our Wellington Button Back leather chairs in Bassotto Tan look exceptional placed alongside the Stowe Dining Table with a Cream Base and Weathered Oak Top. These items really compliment each other and create the perfect relaxed area for customers wanting a laid back drink.

In the following image you can see the dining area where our client has a mixture of Texas, Country and 1940 dining chairs in a combination of Dark Walnut, Vintage and Weathered Oak wood colours. All of these chairs were then covered in a variety of external fabrics from iLiv & Moon to create even more of that mix match look but with it looking the perfect mix through maintaining a similar colour way.

The dining area is filled with Rectangle and Square Boston tables in Weathered Oak with a mixture of Cream and Weathered Oak bases. Having a variety of Rectangle and Square provides options with dining size and creates a nice atmosphere.

Coupled with these tables are a mixture of 1940, York and Cambridge Dining Chairs all again in a combination of Vintage and Weathered Oak. Against the white walls, the open fire, wooden floors and traditional pub features, this looks like the perfect setting for a relaxing meal.

Then to the bar area which looks just as stunning with another mix and match of colours, patterns and items. Mix match is very on trend right now! Therefore, this pub has perfectly got the balance of making it still look like a traditional pub whilst also modernising it with these twists.
